Hawks Fly High in Lincoln — Two Titles and a Runner-Up Finish to Open the Season

Championship Weekend: Icehawks Rule Hocktoberfest

The Icehawks opened their second season in style this past weekend at the Hocktoberfest Tournament in Lincoln, Nebraska, delivering an incredible all-around performance from start to finish.

Both the 10U and 12U Select Black teams went undefeated, capturing championship titles and setting the tone for what’s shaping up to be a special year. The 14U team turned in an impressive weekend of their own — battling through tight games, showing strong chemistry, and earning a well-deserved runner-up finish in a highly competitive division.

Across all three teams, the Icehawks displayed toughness, composure, and a team-first mentality — proving that Kansas City Icehawks hockey is on the rise. It was an unforgettable weekend and a powerful start to the season for the program.
