The Kansas City Icehawks Hockey Club is dedicated to empowering young athletes to develop a lifelong love for hockey. We provide a team-first environment that emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship, and character—helping every player grow on the ice and in life.

The Kansas City Icehawks Hockey Club, established in 2024, is committed to fostering a lifelong passion for hockey in athletes as young as age five. We provide an engaging environment that emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, skill development, and personal growth on and off the ice.

At the heart of our philosophy is development. We believe every athlete deserves the chance to improve, no matter their starting point. Whether it’s a player’s first season or they’ve been competing for years, our coaches and staff devote the same level of attention, guidance, and encouragement to help them reach their next level. Development extends beyond skating and shooting—it’s about building confidence, resilience, and a deeper understanding of the game.

Led by Hockey Director Simon Watson and backed by a deep bench of experienced coaches, the Icehawks are built on teaching the game the right way while creating an atmosphere where athletes can thrive as both players and individuals. Through structured training, age-appropriate progression, and engaging activities, we instill core skills while nurturing leadership, work ethic, and pride.
